1. Definitions
"Company", "we", "us", "our" refers to Shipblast Marine Pte Ltd (UEN registered in Singapore), with principal office at 1 Soon Lee Street #02-43. "Customer", "you" refers to the person or entity purchasing goods or services from the Company. "Goods" refers to any equipment, abrasive media, accessory or spare part supplied by the Company.
2. Quotations & Orders
- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are exclusive of GST, freight, insurance and any local duties unless otherwise stated.
- An order is only accepted once we issue a written order confirmation (by email or signed purchase order acknowledgement).
- We reserve the right to refuse any order, or to request prepayment or deposit, at our discretion.
3. Payment
- Standard payment terms are 50% deposit on order, 50% on delivery for fabricated equipment, and full payment on order for abrasive media, accessories and hardware — unless a credit account has been separately agreed.
- Accepted payment methods are bank transfer, PayNow (corporate) and cheque in favour of "Shipblast Marine Pte Ltd".
- Late-payment interest of 1.5% per month (or the highest rate permitted by law, whichever is lower) may be charged on overdue invoices.
- Goods remain the property of the Company until payment is received in full.
4. Delivery
- Free local delivery is provided for orders above S$500 within mainland Singapore. Orders below this threshold are subject to a delivery surcharge which will be quoted.
- Delivery dates are estimates only — while we strive to meet all promised dates, time is not of the essence unless specifically agreed in writing.
- For export orders, freight, insurance and any destination-country duties are additional unless the quotation is on a delivered-duty-paid (DDP) basis. The Customer is responsible for providing correct consignee details, HS codes and any import permits required.
- Risk in the Goods passes to the Customer on delivery to the nominated address, or at Incoterms-defined handover for export consignments.
5. Warranty
- Fabricated equipment (blasting pots, cabinets, pressure vessels) carries a 12-month manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, from the date of delivery.
- Abrasive media, consumables, hoses, nozzles and wear parts are not covered under warranty as they are consumed in normal use.
- The warranty does not cover damage arising from misuse, failure to follow operating instructions, unauthorised modification, use of incompatible media, or wear and tear beyond reasonable expected life.
- MOM-certified pressure vessels remain certified only while in the configuration in which they were delivered. Any modification voids certification and warranty.
6. Returns
- Abrasive media and consumables, once dispatched, are non-returnable unless they are defective or incorrectly supplied.
- Fabricated equipment may be returned within 7 days of delivery only where there is a manifest defect. Equipment that has been commissioned, used or modified cannot be returned.
- Custom-built equipment is non-refundable once fabrication has commenced.
- All returns must be authorised in advance in writing.
7. Compliance & Certifications
- All pressure vessels supplied are fabricated to ASMI standards and certified by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) before dispatch.
- Certification documentation and serial-number traceability are supplied on request.
- It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that equipment is installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and any applicable local workplace-safety regulations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Singapore law, our total liability under any order shall not exceed the invoiced value of the Goods supplied under that order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of production, or plant downtime, however arising.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, civil unrest, strikes, fire, flood, pandemic, government restrictions, import/export embargoes, shipping disruptions and failures of critical suppliers.
10. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, fabrication specifications and product photographs remain the intellectual property of Shipblast Marine Pte Ltd. They may not be copied, reproduced or passed to third parties without our written consent.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
